Turnip

Turnip is a one year old neutered male bunny who is in need of a home with a female rabbit to keep him company. He uses a litter tray so would make a good houserabbit.

QB - Reserved

QB is a black labrador crossbreed aged a year. Is very good with children, usually good with cats and being assessed with other dogs.

Buster

Buster is about 5 years old and a staffordshire bull terrier cross (possibly with boxer). He is used to living with another dog but isnt always good with them. He was kept outside in last home so will need an experienced, patient owner who can help him adjust to life indoors.

Teddy

Teddy is about 7 months old and a black lab cross (possibly with a greyhound). He is good with other animals and children but needs a bit of basic training.

BEN

Ben is 7 years old. Friendly with people but not good with other animals. He gets anxious when left so needs an owner who has plenty of time to spend with him & a very secure garden as he is an escape artist.

Mr Softee

This gorgeous friendly boy was found with an abcess on his leg. Thats now healed & sadly his owners cannot be traced so he needs a new home. He is very laid back and seems fine with other cats.

Mary -

Mary is about 18 months old and came into us having been hit by a car. Despite undergoing fairly major surgery, Mary has made a miraculous recovery & has come to be quite a character with lots of affection to give. She gets on incredibly well with dogs & would probably be OK with children although this has not been tested. Because of her accident, it would be good for her to be in a quiet area with no major roads as she might be slightly slower on her feet. But she is anxious to get outdoors.

She isnt always good with other cats so be best as an only cat.

Cherry & Sammy

These 2 young adults came to us together so could be rehomed as a pair or seperately. Cherry is a tabby female & Sammy a ginger male who is missing one of his eyes.

GEORGE

George is a lovely young tabby - about 1 or 2 years old. Came to us after a road accident where a back leg was badly injured. Sadly the leg could not be saved but he is now doing really well on 3 legs.

Hopeful update on abandoned pups

First test results have just come in and they do not have Parvo, Giardia: or Cryptosporidium, so they no longer have to be barrier nursed to protect other dogs from possible contagion, which is a relief and will help to keep the cost of treatment within reasonable limits. They're brighter and starting to be interested in playing, but still not eating well, so the next few days will be crucial.

Smudge is 8 years old and has a flea allergy but now this has been treated, her coat is improving. She is a really unusual coloured tortie with an almost siamese-like cream colour mixed with black, ginger and white.

Tilly needs a new home as her owners too ill to keep her. We are told she is 14 although she doesnt look it. She is a pretty and friendly girl.

Dave Dodds, who fosters ferrets for the RSPCA in the East of England, has just taken in 31 ferrets, all of whom will eventually need good homes. I understand that some are very young, but will soon be able to leave their mother.
